I have an x2 and use is for archery elk, but it a little big for texas style hunting.
I bought the Gunrunner h2 more for a blind bag, it works great for climbing into 12'ft tall box blinds. Keeps your hands free to climb, and your rifle low enough that it is easy to fit through small doors in box blinds. One of the greatest features is how narrow the pack is.
Typically take bino, Bi-pod, small spotter, snacks, water,rangefinder, camera, lens, knife and cell phone battery back up. Even wih all this, still stick a light jacket or packable goose down jacket if need be
only improvements would be a better waist strap-- Longer and at least one pocket like the x2 for a rangefinder.. Add that and it would be 6 stars on a 5 star rating
