Have not hunted with this yet, but in pre-season training, it has been a great pack. Had 40lbs in my Badlands 2200 and moved it into the X2, and would not have believed the difference if I hadn't experienced for myself. Nothing against the 2200, it's just bigger and made for a different purpose. The load is so compact and tight now, that other than the burning thighs, I don't know it's even back there. Also, I like to day hunt with my 80mm Swarovski scope and tripod, and I love the side pockets for both. Doubt even a slightly longer scope would fit, but mine fits and is one of the advantages of the Swarovski 80mm over the other very good scopes out there. When everything is packed up, the X2 is amazingly compact and the load is so secure, it's just the coolest. Can't wait to try out the built-in bow carrier, too. For my style of hunting, which is going in as far as you can in one day, going in in the dark and coming out In the dark, this looks to be the best pack I've ever tried.
