The X2 is now my go to pack with the ability to pack out more meat then before. Two 100oz hydration bags, lots of lash points for added pouches from Eberlestock. The rock camo is nice for my area, just wish it had a built in rain cover like my Kelty does. The frame gets noisy so you my want to apply tape to the metal frame. A nice design which I wish I had years ago, would have made hauling deer out easier..You can even attach a rifle scabbard or a bow holder to it. Just add the optional outside attached pockets to increase storage. So far this day pack worked well on my three night trip using ultra lite gear. I'm 6'1" 180# and the small pack fits OK not really good but OK. Still the best hunting pack yet..4 stars for the lack of built in rain cover and the not well thought out water bag holders and the noisy frame.. PS Got it from S&S nice reliable delivery and got a hydration bag and free shipping.' Thanks, Steve..

Bought one in 09 from S&S on one of the forums, then bought one from him again in 2010 from sands archery, gave one to my buddy, and he and I both agree this is an awesome pack very well thought out, would rather see a better waistbelt ,but this packs is great for my hunts in the beautiful mountains of West Va.

Everything on this pack was very well thought out. from the zippers to the abundance of tie-on points and straps.
This is a little workhorse of a pack and can handle pretty much anything you can strap onto it if you are willing to carry it ;)
I will be using this pack as a daypack and meat hauler(hopefully) this season.
IMO, it is the best compromise pack i have ever owned.
