Description Technical Specs
The Promaster XC525C is definitely our favorite all around tripod. While it's not the lightest tripod we carry, it is probably the most feature rich. Excellent build quality, 3 position leg locks, and a ball head included. The ball head weighs 12oz, a little heavy but good quality if that's what you are looking for. We recommend using one of our pan heads. The XC525C also has a detachable leg that can be used as a monopod or walking stick.

By far the nicest tripod I have tried I have used it with my tsn 773 kowa first test was to extend it all the way out and check for stability and it did no wobble at all I also use the tripod with a Sony a6000 and a7r camera with the pro master head it butter smooth easy to use light weight well built i love how fast you can make adjustments to the height plus the leg locks are fast and easy to use if your on uneven ground the one leg that turns into a mono pod is another solid feature I highly recommend this tripod for anyone using camera gear or a spotting scope

Fantastic Tripod September 20, 2017
Reviewer: Dave Davis from Auburn, NE United States
Great tripod for use in back country! I can't compare to others in this price category as this is the only one I've used in this class and it's fantastic! It's light enough and yet sturdy enough to do everything I wanted. I primarily used it with my 15x56 binos while glassing in the backcountry. I also use it during archery practice to glass arrow impact in the target on those longer shots. I'm 6'0" and I can comfortably adjust it for use with binos from a standing position. I paired it with the Benro S2 head. Great products and great service from the team at S&S Archery!

This tripod is exceptionally well built and just what I have been looking for to carry in my pack for my spotting scope. Cannot wait to use it during archery season here in Montana.
