In my three year personal quest to find the best tripod to fit the conditions I need I have finally come across the Promaster T525P Carbon fiber tripod.  Conditions I need a tripod to meet are lightweight, strong, portable and have a good smooth head for both spotting scope use and running the video camera.  There are a lot of tripods out there that have one or two of those conditions met but I was always settling until I found this tripod.  At a measly 2lbs 3 oz the Promaster T525P is a phenomenal tripod.  

One look at this tripod in person and your first reaction is quality.  Everything down to the last detail is well thought out and well built.
